My Gamepad Pt. 2- From Bad to Worse

In my mother's and my own attempts in fixing the gamepad's touchscreen, the screen just stopped turning on.
Oy vey.

Man that is just some bad luck...sorry about your streak! Maybe you and your mom put it back together incorrectly. Did your mom look for a tutorial or have some basic knowledge of electronics? I mean some parents do, but most that I know of are computer illiterate.

At the very least, you can say you tried your best and go the screen to work. You must have messed up the screen ribbon somehow or it's not all the way plugged in. I'd pop open the Wii U again and have a quick look to see if it looks like the screen ribbons/wires are properly attached.

Also what kind of screen replacment did you buy? Was it just the screen or did it come with the touch-screen to? It's kind of weird that the touch-screen thing is just a tiny floppy piece of plastic.
