Save Your Miiverse Stuff

Post by Guy on Sun 29 Oct 2017, 2:16 pm

Hey guys, this is pretty important stuff, so read this. Anyway, head over to Miiverse with a device such as a computer (or maybe phone/tablet) and sign in. Near your profile section, you will have the option to request all your posts (from art, miiverse art pads, and comments on posts) to be saved to a hard copy. You must sign in and request it before the site goes down however.

I figured I'd let you all know that, because I recently hopped onto Miiverse with my computer and noticed the request option. That wasn't available on the WiiU or 3DS. I don't know how they will make it retrievable...possibly by email?

I think is fair to download all the posts, specially for all those artists who spent hours on their masterpieces. I think all those posts will be sent to the emails.

Yeah, very true. It's a generous thing to do though. They didn't have to do anything. I saved a lot of my art, just in case it doesn't work for some reason. It's good to hear from you Hikarichi, I hope you've been well in health, despite the trying times.

It'll be sent by email, in a zip folder they'll send it at some point! I don't think I'll be able to save my art that way but over my phone I will save everything I've drawn for my own sake. X) I also have art from others like my friends saved so they aren't gone forever. It's a shame that it has to be this way, sadly..

Now let's hope Nintendo makes something similar to miiverse in the future...

Oh I think I read it wrong. It doesn't save everything, just the posts/art you've done on the activity feed thing. And yeah I've saved my art as well, but I had done that way before the Miiverse announcement anyway. I'm usually cautious like that, because my luck with electronics and saved data of any sort is normally pretty bad.

I've had all of my game data deleted in one way or another throughout the years...and computer files...and homework stuff. So I usually have several backups lol. That's a really cute drawing Hikarichi (and nice to!) It's great to see your traditional drawings now, without the badmins striking down with their iron fist.

I'm not sure if I'm still qualified.
I got one admin notice.

It probably wouldn't had hurt just to try anyway. I don't know if it's still possible however...
